Taryn is our dedicated Heartland Services Co-Ordinator, working behind the scenes to ensure our community has better access to the services they need. She leads the production of our monthly Te Hiku Connect newsletter, coordinates our bi-monthly rural Outreach Clinics, and supports whānau by connecting them with key government and community services. With a background in media, communications, and customer service, Taryn brings a thoughtful and practical approach to her mahi. Helping whānau feel heard, informed and empowered is what drives her. When she’s not at mahi, you’ll likely find her spending time with her loved ones, immersed in a good book, or exploring the great outdoors.
