Start your week gently with hands-on mending, making, and creative repair. Mondays are hosted by Catherine, who brings a calm, supportive space for learning, sharing skills, and giving new life to textiles.
Whether you’re repairing a favourite item, learning basic hand-stitching, or just wanting to sit and create, you’re very welcome.

Come for a little while or stay longer — all contributions matter.

Music, Movement, Rhythm & Fun for seniors! Held every Tuesday at the Age Concern office from 10:30am.

A supportive group for mothers (including Nanas caring for their mokopuna) and their babies. A safe place to connect with other mums, build wellbeing and life skills and access wider supports if needed. Every Tuesday except for school holidays.

• Play and tamariki time

Anō anō is a space for our community. It's a space to come together to learn, share knowledge, do sewing or handcrafts, and get creative together. We collect clothing that local opshops are unable to sell. This is then either repaired, upcycled, or cut into fabric pieces to be used for sewing and craft projects. If it's done its dash, we use it for stuffing and rags. We do our best to find a use for things, repair, reuse, recycle - keep them in the loop and out of the landfill.
We have open sessions Monday - Friday
The weekly session hours are
Mon 10am - 1pm
Tues 3 - 5pm
Thurs 10am - 6pm
Thurs 3pm - 6 pm available for Whittling
Fri 10am - 1pm

Tuesday night Darts.
Open to all ages.

Judgment-free, open meeting for program of recovery from alcoholism. Free to attend.

Held every Saturday from 7am in the carpark by the old Warehouse on Matthews Avenue. Food, crafts, rongoa, jewellery, fresh produce & more!
